INDUCED GAS FLOTATION
WIG Induced Gas Flotation units are designed to remove hydrocarbon emulsions or impurities found in water by means of a horizontal tank internally divided into flotation cells. In each cell, gas bubbles injected through ejectors produce buoyancy effect of small oil droplets which subsequently are withdrawn from the water surface.
FEATURES / ADVANTAGES
- High efficiency oil removal.
- Low oil-in-water content at water outlet.
- Simple, efficient operation and maintenance.
- Low or zero chemical consumption.
- No fugitive gas emissions.
- Minimal environmental impact.
Typical Operating Ranges: Input: 300 ppm - Output: 20 ppm.
